Are you trying to make your car lighter by getting rid of motors for the power windows

well sort of,i don't really want to put my door panels back in...i was also thinking about the carbon doors as well..i think in my setup it would be kind of point less to put the power windows and harness, and all the other stuff back in a carbon door, but i want to be able to roll the window down still,(no a/c)
i think i may be able to make some kind of slider setup that will work, just wanted to see if there was any simple fatory options..but i guess if it were that simple, everyone would do it....thanks for the response from everyone on this
any ideas anyone has for sliders i'm open....lmk
has anyone done anything like this?

Maybe go with lexan (Plexi glass or whatever) windows, probably easier to roll up.

carbon doors or you can gut your down to the shell. The windows probably only add 20lbs.

the car is not a dd,it's more of a personal test to see what i can do without paying a shop to do it...
as far as weight goes,i know its not that much of a savings, but this all started with some broken connectors that no one had without selling harnesses, and i could not find one at the junk yards...
so instead of fixing all the stuff on my car,i decieded to go nuts and take everything that doesn't make it go faster out...no a/c,no abs,no egr,no interior,no anything, carbon hood, carbon seats, thats where i'm at now..
since i took all that stuff out,i needed to paint it,so i did a complete engine bay delete-tuck,and felt that i should follow the theme inside the car too,so i have now got a cabin tuck too..lol
