i found a front sump 1jz vvti for 1500.00 shipped with an uncut harness (auto)

but for 1900.00 i also found a 1jz vvt-i with a r154 but the oil pan is rear sump


i haven't done a swap in a LONG TIME (6 years) that y i have been so hesitent on my car i don't want to break anything. but from looking at my timing belt and serp their cracking

i'm at a cross roads with this i have called 2 places and i just got word that jarco is not getting anymore motors in.

i guarantee you, you are going to regret it if you don't get the one with the r154. Probably replace the water pump and your fuel pump

Rear sump is what you need since you have an SC....
Don't get the auto please!!! and don't forget about the harness service save some money for that too.

Rear sump! Is going to cost you time and extra to find a rear sump. I have a brand new water pump if you wanna go with the clutch fan

im just going to wait till a rear sump pops up dont wanna rush this. i think im going to move t Jzx100 cause of the knowledge base. so far i found a manifold but i think im going to grab a 20g T3 of a saab and upgraded the trim

Where did you find the motors if you don't mind? Because I want to do my swap around October. Thanks in advance!!! Current JHOT doesn't have any 1jz because I just asked them a couple days ago. They said there maybe a shipment coming in June.

Their site is down but you can call, their all out of the 1JZs at the moment. My buddy usually gets front clips from them but they dont carry them anymore.

I been calling JHOT for the past 3 months. They keep telling me that their next container will arrive in 4 months. When I look at their arriving inventory, seems like all the 1JZs are all spoken for. If they have any in stock, you have to jump on it PRONTO are they will be gone in no time..

How easy? what does it consist of? Do you need to order any extra parts? Can I use any parts from my 2JZ??
