I smoked him!!!!!

I checked the specs on our two cars a long time ago. It seemed like a VERY close match up. I've been in his car before and it feels very fast. Honestly I thought his car was just going to edge out my SC400 automatic.

But WOW did the old SC ever pull through. I smoked him twice on an industrial road by my house. Like 3-4 car lengths bad!!!! I don't know the length of the street but we went 0-120 km/hr. Really smoked him bad. If we went 0-200km/ it would have been worse.

I really like his Genesis 2.0T though. It's a real nice car. My 18 year old SC pulled through though lol.

I guess I'll have to post a vid sometime cause we'll be racing each other all summer.

Didn't he get you off the line though? I feel like SCs are horrendous off the line, but from a roll they're pretty decent.

yeah is it the turbo 4 or the 6cyl version...there is a biiiiiiig difference in power for the two!

He didn't get me off the line at all. We tried twice, he launched at 3500 rpm about. He said that's when his turbo kicks in. Honestly I thought he was going to get me off the launch and my only chance would be to walk on him. But it was just ownage off the start.

Lol... he can drive. We will go at it again soon probably, we'll see what happens on the highway this time. Honestly I didn't look back the whole race but my friend in the passenger seat said 3-4 car lengths, it was probably more like 3. He tried one race with the traction control on and one race without. I had traction control on both times with PWR mode and just put the pedal to the floor in the automatic.

No, no mods yet. He's planning on doing some mods to it soon. It's a really nice car. His is gunmetal grey and it looks sick.

I just bought some new Hankook Ventus V12 Evo tires so that probably helped.
