Default story of my life. car got some new parts, then bent 2 wheels

I met up with member kingluis today to pick up his 97 lower door mouldings. While picking those up he also sold me his 97 tails. We did the swap right there.

The car was looking good when I left. I got my lower door mouldings and 97 tails. The car was looking more complete.

Then while driving home, I hit something on the 60 freeway. I swirved my best to avoid it. It looks like some sort of machine part. Like a 12 inch motor of some sort. For sure made of some sort of metal. I was able to swirve and keep it from hitting the kit but I didnt go far enough and it hit the edge of my right wheels. My fiance saw my reaction when I check them out, she said I looked like I was gonna cry... fml

Now I have 2 bent wheels. The front one is bad, the rear is minor but still scraped. I already had curb rash on this side on the 2 wheels, so now I guess I this is a major reason to repair it. At least these were not real bbs lm's.

Any recommendations on places to repair wheels? I searched already and narrowed down 3 places referred on the forum. But more recommendations would help, anywhere in los angeles area. Also if you got wheels fixed with damage similar to this before. How much you pay?

I already emailed them. I worked with jack before, I picked up 2 sets of wheels from him before.

If those were real LM's they wouldn't have bent... You get what you pay for.

errrr..? hitting something like that on the freeway and they ONLY "bent" is pretty decent. Im happy the OP is safe and they didnt CRACK and let the air out and pop the tire.

In this case.. from Forged rims.. they would of bent also if you hit something on the freeway with that mass and at that speed from personal experiance...

soulific its not bad at all your car will be finished soon dont stress too much on it bro.

Thanks for the positivity guys.

I have narrowed it down to a couple spots. RB didn't get back to me, son tran said he didnt do straightening and only cosmetics. He gave me a number to a guy but he didnt answer or respond to my voicemail yet. A spot called called boltons is closed today.

so that leaves

1) magmasters = $85 a wheel to fix, straighten, fix lip, with unmount and mounting of tire (that seems really low). Their reviews were 50/50 so Im unsure. They have a sign supposedly that says they fix your wheels to 80%, so you cant really complain if its not perfect.

2) Wheel Repair specialists = $140 a wheel to fix it, straighten, fix lip, re clear lip, unmount and mount tire. (the reviews seem better for this place being that they have less complaints)

What do you guys think? Price is good for magmasters, but Ive had bad experiences with going with cheaper and getting screwed over.

Also these 2 spots say they unmount and remount. Should they be able to remount my tires that have a stretch on them with out doing damage??
