need suggestions pre purchase sc300 or 400?
So I have been lookin for sc's for a while now and I have 3 options it looks like but I need some input.
First is a 1999 sc300 gold 143000miles the second is a 1992 sc400 with new radiator, water pump timing belt, 136,000miles and the last is a 1992 sc400 144,000miles with about the same repairs as the other sc400. So what I'm suggesting is I want a reliable car that wont cost me left and right the v8 or I6. But are the 1992 sc400 worth the same as the sc300 1999 updated sc with around the same miles. Maintenance on 300 is unknown for now but what do you all think is pre undated with v8 or 1999 with I6? What will the 300 possibly need if anything? I have been researching mainly the 400's until I found this 1999 sc300 so I know the sc400s are usually good to go after what has already been taken care of it seems but the 1999 model is really catching my eye.

Most people are going to tell you to go with the 99, especially the post 96 aesthetic junkies. But I'd say go with the one thats in the best shape and has the most verifiable service and maintenance history. That of course is if the price of the cars is not an issue. They are all used cars, and you should be prepared to put money into anything you buy.
