question .. tried installing my hid fog tonight but got lost a little.... the 2 wire c metal clips.... the red is power and goes into a slot.. what is the black one for.. heard its ground??? so the fixed gray one is what?? what do i do with the black clip that comes with the hid...???

Its plug and play. You shouldn't even have to cut/splice anything. It would hookup to the back of the cap/cover. You can see on the first 2nd and 4th picture I posted on page 1. Its pretty straight forward.

black is ground, make it touch some type of metal, you can use my picture as reference. i use the two metal pieces in the foglight cap

hey u mentioned u had found a spot to ground the black wire metal piece... where did u ground it???? i tried under a screw on the outside of the fog and the fog light just flickered.. maybe needs better ground...???
