Dude, that looks REALLY good for just a slap on and go.
have you finished aligning the door? It looks a bit off at the top, but not by much!
Good job!

Are you keeping it white?

The door is aligned, it's the body that isn't...

That's going to be the hard part. Fortunately, after a lot of phone battles with USAA, I got $6000 and I kept the car, so I'll be able to fix her nice.

Aahh, I see.

Well, 6k should be more than enough to fix her up nicely.

Can't believe you got that much out of USAA!
Good insurance though.

So it's salvage title? I'd just move on if I were you...

Yeah, it's a salvage title. I have $5000 in receipts for what I have put into that car and I have no intention of letting her rot in a scrap yard. Either I will enjoy her, or someone else will.

As far as the quarter panel damage, I'm going to try and pull it myself by welding studs to the sheet metal and pulling. I have never done it before, so it will be a learning experience. If I really can't get anywhere with it, I'll take it to a body shop. Paint will definitely be handled by a pro.

That's my dad's dog, "Lady". He lives with me in a studio apartment kinda setup.

Same here. Buy another sc and swap the parts in. If you fix her and something like that ever happens again you'll get crap back.
