Default Minivans get no respect...

I apologize if I offend any one that drives minivans, but lately due to some much needed repairs on my SC400 I had to go back to driving the family car everywhere, and its not pleasant. My minivan runs like a champ ,it's the traffic that bothers me.Okay I know in NY the traffic can be lousy but ive noticed a difference in my daily commute. On a normal day when driving my SC, I would get compliments or stares & I notice that most drivers didn't challenge me or cut me off as much. In my minivan though... thats the total opposite.
Horns are blaring ,people are trying to cut me off left and right, its a nightmare!
The thing that bothers me is, im driving the same way in both cars but its like night & day.
I don't know, I guess minivans get no respect...
what do you guys think???

I think thats about right. Its weird but if people see a nice car that sticks out and looks like something special, they tend to stay away from it. For example, how many people do you see cutting off a Lamborghini or Ferrari...they get all the space they need like night and day. I know the SC is no lambo or ferrari, but its shape to the less informed could fool them.

^that is flipping awesome. My family used to have a beautil '89 Toyota van, real champ, always made it through our ranch in Mexico with no problem and ball tires lol. I once had to rent a Pontiac van, and wow i just floored it everywhere no problems with cut offs or anything like that. but yea.

i think it may also be that people are afraid of getting into an accident involving an expensive car. they'll give these 70k+ cars all the space they need so they don't have to pay for any damage they may cause
