(yet another) will these wheels fit? thread
Ok, so I did read the wheel and tire fitment thread. But I just gotta know from you guys before I click the "buy it now" button. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=260535159752 They're 18's with a +35mm offset. 2" lip in front and 3" in rear. I asked the seller about offering a tire package with them. My car is currently in the body shop getting ready for paint. I'd like to not have to roll my fenders but that is an option. If they do fit will I need to have them rolled? thanks!

lol. They offer that wheel in gunmetal with a polished lip. Thinking about painting the spokes to match the car. I don't want to spend a bunch of money, the car should hopefully get painted next week. The wheels that it came with are junk and I can't be caught with them on I need to research other wheel companies since I really don't know what I'm looking for.

check this site out: http://www.rbwheels.com/ they have a bunch of nice wheels that are used so the prices are decent, and they offer refinishing services.

That's precisely why my first sentence of this thread said that I DID READ THE GUIDE. I'm obviously embarrassed that I had to start this thread in the first place and I apologize for my lack of certainty to cause any clutter on this forum. I obviously know very little about brand names and the quality of aftermarket wheels. I've looked in the classified section of this forum, but I live in VA and the majority of the wheels I see listed are on the west coast.

I agree about the "taste" aspect. But a brand name and light wheel weight means oh so little to me. I just want something that I THINK LOOKS GOOD and I don't want to pay a fortune. I live in a small redneck town so anything I'm going to do to this car will be plenty tasteful compared to it's environment. My problem is that the car will painted soon and the wheels that are on it are trashed pieces of junk that are MUCH worse than the ebay wheels that I have listed here. I'm going to build this car at the pace that I can afford and if I throw some cheap ebay wheels on it so I can JUST DRIVE AND ENJOY my car than that's fine with me.
