Been Lurking But finnaly have bought not one but 2 sc's in one week. One boosted.
Wassup Club Lexus. Just bought Two Sc's recently.
My name is Ron, 21 and coming from owning plently of 2nd and 3rd generation supras. Been there and did it all from the 5mge, 7mge, built 7mgte making 500rwhp. Well I finally made the move to the lexus platform.
First car i purchased thats been passed around my city was a hacked job na-t pearl white sc300 auto. Paid 2grand for it, was in pieces, intake mani was off etc etc. Got it to start and never ran right. It would only idle, they wired the safc2 in wrong. Had some goodies as crossdrilled rotors, ls400 brake calipers, Supra mkiv shocks and eibach springs, i think vertex knockoff rear and sideskirts and sc400 stock front lip. And some nice donz 19" wheels.
I just pulled the motor ut to go thru it and also saw that a knock sensor wire was off, and that and heard that a 1jz auto tranny was swapped in. It as an xspower na-t kit but changed the turbo to some bullseye turbo. Sold all of that hack job ****. but then ran into issue with the car being a rebuilt title and registering it etc etc so i then picked up a mint black sc400, Single owner, not one single dent one the car, paint is immaculate and black is just down right sexc.
But car wont start, Mechanic did everything, change ecu, fuel pump, alot of sensors, checked compression, plugs, its gets spark, and fuel, cranks, but doesnt start. So i will begin diagnosticing just so i can drive the car as is and wait a little bit before i put the 1.5jz monster motor that Im slowly pieceing together a single turbo, fuel, and standalone for before i drop it in, well On the supraforums, they say that a new post is pointless without pics so here they are.

so then like i said it was issues with the title for the white one, so i picked up the black sc400 today. Heres some pics, kinda dark at nite but ill take some more tomorow.
engine bay looks like a ***** to work on already
goals rite now,
Get the sc400 running. Swap ova the suspension setup and brakes from the white one to the black and the rims.
Autocoture or just the factory 97 front bumper,
reuse the white bumper, and go with the autocoture sideskirts.
Eventually my 1.5jz motor will be swapped in, Wolf v500 standalone ecu, Master power t76 turbo or greddy t78 or pte67, not sure yet.
R154 swap.
And other minor things to the interior to update it a little bit.

the reason the sc400 engine looks like a female dog to work on is because its missing the plastic front parts to contain the ignition wires....it cleans up quite nicely with those one.
