Default Complete your 3 spoke ES/GS/SC430/RX/etc. steering wheel

Since the SC doesn't use the additional radio control/whatever module on the left side of the 3 spoke ES/GS/SC430/RX/etc. steering wheel, there is a big, gaping hole where that module is supposed to go. You could just leave the module there, but it sort of bugged me that I had a non working control unit sitting there. For some reason Toyota actually makes a cover for that hole, even though as far as I know, every car that was equipped from the factory w/ that 3 spoke steering wheel came with an additional module on the left. It took me a little while to find the part number (45187-48010-C0) for that cover so hopefully this will be helpful to someone out there looking for this cover.

Heh np, nice thing is it's only $4! I was half expecting it to be like $20 or so even though it's just a little piece of plastic.

I like the newer soarer airbag cover, i was trying to find one like that when i had my SC but everyone wanted like 375 for it, so i ended up getting a 00' SC 3spoke which looked pretty good..

anyways the only steering wheel i know that comes factory without the controls like that, is the 2002 to i think 07 Camry SE's 4cyl..

i think all the V6 ones had the radio controls..

I have the same steering wheel with the wood grain and controls in my GS430 and i love it!

i just bought a 2003 Camry SE for my wife, and it has this steering wheel with no radio controls

anyways thanks for letting us know the part #, that could come in handy! i was missing a simlar part on my 00 SC wheel..

45187-48010-E0 for Sandalwood (tan) and 45187-48010-B0 for charcoal (gray).

So I guess that must be the real reason why Toyota makes these covers... I guess it's not to help out retrofitters, hehe.

I got this last summer when I installed my wheel also. I'm driving a RHD, and I was tired of my passengers asking me what's that hole for.. lol

It cost me $47 CND... for that piece of plastic..
