NOT!!! (I wish)
Just did my exhaust. The stock exhaust system was cut out from the secondary O2 sensors back to between the rear muffler flange and the rear resonators. Reason being that I wanted to be able to drop the true dual mid-pipe in case of potential transmission or diff work in the future. The only part needed was an X-pipe 2.5" inlet/2.25" outlet off some E-bay store for $25. Anyway from the O2 sensor back I wanted the 2.5 inch piping to act as a collector since my X-pipe is tucked in behind the tranny. I did not want to run 2.5" all the way through as I did not wish to lose low end torque (made this error on my ex-LS400). The blend of piping is perfect. I would love to see a flow bench test of the stock rear mufflers vs. popular after market ones. The muffler pipe diameter should be more than enough for a sub 300 HP vehicle with true duals. Anyway, custom bending and welding came out to $250 and I could not be happier with my removable street legal system.
Very surprised at how close the quad cam 4.0 sounds compared to a 5 valve Italian 3.5L eight. Pleasure not to have the car sound like a vacuum cleaner anymore. No resonance anywhere in the RPM range and very quiet at idle. Sounds beast like at WOT gauged from pedestrian and soccer mom facial expressions.

Too be honest it is more like the yellow one in the tunnel with a much lower rev limit. The 10 year old memory is getting hazy on recall, so upon listening to your youtube, I will have to correct my original claim to state it sounds "kind of like an F355." Sorry for the drama.
