Visited my sc today. It's getting there. It should be done in 2 weeks. makito has alot of other projects besides my sc.

Skirts, front bumper, rear bumper, and drivers fender have been fitted/fixed and prepped, just waiting on paint.

Look so much better with the front bar removed. Its still pretty sturdy also.

It's coming together nicely. What made you want to respray the whole car, instead of just having the body kit painted?

He isn't respraying the full car. Atleast, from what I know the last time I was at Shine. He is just fixing the fenders.

I am not respraying the whole car. The paint wasnt that bad to begin with, so it doesnt justify spending close to 4 g's for full paint yet

Im just getting the kit, rear spoiler painted, and the drivers fender repaired. Getting chips and dents filled/blended, as well as a minor repair from a bad roll job.

When checking the car out today makito let me know/showed me that my hood and side mirrors are slightly off from the rest of the cars. The metallic is more corse on the hood compared to the fine metallic on the fenders.

Anyone else have this problem? This leads me to believe the car has been in a accident the person I bought didnt tell me about.

The other defect on my car would be some super small chips and peeling of the clear coat, from the previous owner having on side mouldings.

I removed the mouldings right when I received the car. you can see 2 different tones of paint, the paint being more fresh where the side mouldings were after being removed, some small specks of clear coat also peeled. Not really that bad though.

I also have some dents that I will try removing with PDR when I get the car back.

Some pieces from the Shine SC kit laying around

are those oversized fenders in the back ground like the vertex ones???
