yeah the plan is get a nardi aftermarket steering wheel I dont want the regular hubs the quick release because im moving to los angeles so not such a good neighboorhood. If someone else has a nrg hub can it connect to my quick release? Im concerned because nrg is very common all the civic guys have them im pretty sure thieves will too.

I wouldn't recommend an ebay one because my brother had one before and the button that releases the lock shot out and the wheel wasn't fully secure. You could just twist the lock and release the wheel since the button didnt lock it in place. He has a NRG one now and its a lot better now. If you had the money you can look into works bell quick releases but they are very pricey.

I'm very curious too.

I really want one because my legs and long, and the extension would put me in a much better position to drive.

I'm not interested in the lock personally. Just the release hub, and a nice wheel.

All NRG quick releases are interchangeable going backwards. A version 2 will fit on a version 1, but a version 1 won't fit on a version 2.

To answer your question; yes, if I took the steering wheel out of one my cars with a NRG hub I would be able to put it on your car.
