can I use an aristo auto tranny with a 1jzgte

Default can I use an aristo auto tranny with a 1jzgte

I searched and found nothing I basically need to know if I can use a 2jzgte auto with a 1jzgte motor.

IIRC they both 1J and 2J turbo autos are either an A340E (non VVTi Soarers/Supras/Aristos) or an A341E (VVTi Soarers/Supras/Aristos) but don't hold me on that.

yes if you have the harness and ecu for the 2jzgte, it will work with no problem. If you have a soarer harness and ecu you need a kick down cable on the tranny to make it work(sc300). Dont ask how i know (thanks matt)(rissin sun)(g)(omar)(mark)(cherplex)(mamotorsports)

thanks and I dont know if it matters its for a sc400

The is a way to bypass the kick down cable, i just found that out it's on SF i will post the link when i get a chance..

yeah but all the wiring connectors are different on the valve body
