Default Trunk Struts Buying question

Like many of you my trunk does not stay open but I want to make sure I buy the right part before throwing money away

Is what is needed to be replaced 2 of them correct?

I replaced mine last year for about $23. It was so easy. If I can do it anyone can.

Your local auto parts store should be able to ID the correct set.

Mine wasnt holding and I removed the plastic cover to see that only one was connected. Fixed in 15 seconds.

I purchased mine from rockauto. I don't remember the part number.

And yes, they are different depending on spoiler or not.

Two are needed, yes.

Easy to install? Yes, fairly so.

There is a pictorial on here somewhere.
