Default Fuel guage not reading

I just bought a sc300 and there was sugar in teh tank so I pulled the tank, cleaned it put in a new pump and installed it but the guage wasnt working so I ordered another sending unit and it didnt work either... What else could it be?

The motor inside the cluster. Alot of them go bad. Pull apart the cluster with my DIY instructions, and replace it with a used motor, and see if that fixes your problem. OLT may have one lying around. Contact him. Does your needle gauge light up?
