^^ Caging the car and then doing the targa conversion.the cut could be made straight and then the latches and attaching devices added to the cut section. the thing is that the body cannot move at all after or during the cut of its all over. there was a guy that converted his 3000gt to targa and it looks like his body flexed and moved...

werd, i see potential damage to the chassis over time and possible broken glass from extra movement. I would definately put a cage in or leave a bar in the middle like most t-tops have.

so with chopping a hole in the roof comes adding a cage...yeah i don't think any of us have the pocket for this lol

Dam if you hadnt of said anything about the glass in the back i would of looked right pass that!Lol. But i dont like the way it looks on this car! Jus my opinion on it!

The picture looks really good. However, I think that the structural integrity issues would be a nightmare. I am not an automotive engineer, but it seems intuitive that the roof structure would require serious reinforcement to minimize flexing. Assuming that you could make the structure strong enough then you would have to deal with squeeking, wind noise and possibly water leaks. Overall, it seems like an aesthetically pleasing brilliant mistake. Fortunately, dreaming is free.

im just saying...maybe put a supra wing on it? to dimensions ofcourse, and it'll be the coupe version of a supra..
