Difference between Soarer and SC400 front headlights?
Is there any difference between the JDM headlights and the USDM ones? The only reason I'm asking is because I have condensation in one of my headlights (I tried drilling holes but it still comes back and I don't feel like taking them apart).
I found a guy who can sell me Soarer front headlights for $25 each. Is there any difference and will they install easily?
Installation is no different. The bulbs are 9005 size while the usdm is 9006. The turn signal housing is orange inside while the usdm uses orange bulbs with clear housing. People say they point differently because its from a right hand drive car but I had them in my 97 SC and they were lighting up the road perfectly. Other then that they were no different.

Do you have pictures? I may be interested in going amber.
SH_JZZ30 the turn signal housing is that apart of the chrome on the inside of the light ? could i swap over those parts to usdm lights ?
It's like a cap that goes over the bulb from the inside. I was just looking at it. It looks like the only way to get it out is by opening the headlight up or breaking the cap and shaking out the pieces because it's a tight fit.
I used to have JDM ones in mine and they lit up the left side of the road more than the right. And I had to use 9005 bulbs. I didn't really notice the turn signals though. I'll take a second look.
9005 is brighter so that not all bad. And if one burns out, you can grab your high beam as a spare.
The only thing is you have to cut a tab on the harness but it's very easy
I didn't have to cut a tab on my harness. My current SC doesn't have Soarer headlights and I tried the 9005 on the low beam plugs and they connected perfectly and worked.
