One of the neighbors decides to back into my car...


I was parked exactly were my dads fj cruiser is...


It was obviously someone from my neighborhood and I'm pretty sure it was that big van owned by this old guy (the dude nearly hit my dads car a couple of times from backing out)... He obviously denied he did it, what should I do?? slash his tires? break his windows??

Might be just a TAD overboard. I would check his bumpers. Broad daylight, whenever. If he starts barking at you about it, just say "If you aren't guilty, and didn't hit my car, what are you worried about?"

look at the bumpers on all the cars in the area and check for paint transfer. the guy with the van could have bumped your car and not even noticed it.

I would've filed a police report for hit and run and have the cops come to check the bumpers and see if they can do a paint match. But then again kinda hard to pull it on your neighbor since you pretty much have to see them everyday.

Dang, sorry to see the damages. I would go check out all the other cars for scuffs. Chances are they tried to cover up the damages with a compound or something so look really close.
