I want to see your progress in 3 weeks. Nice mounts. What's included in your LSX kits.

LS1 are good motors but if u want one just get a Camaro or TA. not worth the money. Mind as well just do GTE or built NA-T

I always though this wasn't a popular swap cause the LSx weighed more and has such horrible oiling issues

Why would anyone use ancient pushrod engine of 50s? Following this idea, maybe I should go and slap some 50 liter steam engine in my car. Seriously...

This will be great! Glad to see people doing things differently.
I've always wanted an LSx FD3S RX7, you can imagine the amount of hate those people get at Sevenstock, and from loyal rotary fans. LOLOL The DGR GS w/LSx is sickeningly sweet.

+1

I see it on the Rx7 forums too. I was looking into an LSx Rx7 also.

I personally don't care about where the power comes from cause i'm gonna be the one driving the car, for my own pleasure. Can't deny the torque of a large v8 either. Especially in a car as heavy as the Sc/gs.

Have any pics of what you did for a crossmember ..nice mounts. Eventually I am sure i'll do this swap. and to all the haters, the Ls series engines are inexpensive reliable and very capable of pulling high hp. learn a little more

Import boy ignorance LSX motors are amazing motors capable of putting down impressive numbers and not weighing very much. Not all domestics are trash, man... Hell, my dad's '89 Suburban has given him less issues than our '03 Tundra, my '95 SC400, my mom's '00 GS400, and my brother's civic. Our '95 Impala and '95 Camaro were both the same way, problem free. Sure they aren't as nice, but they aren't "trash" at all.

As for that LSX SC, I can't friggin' wait to see it in 3 weeks!!! Would love to have one myself with a 6-speed

Plus it would be fun to pull up to an import show with an SC sounding like this:
