I have an '03 rx wheel, still looking around for an airbag. If you get an 01 airbag you won't lose anything. Where in MD are you? I just called brandywine and they want $950 for that airbag..ridiculous.

Yea like everyone said, you don't lose any options. I can probably get a used airbag for way less than the $950 dealer price lol. Just keep looking around.

my rx steering wheel had 1 less wire for the cruise control so i just swapped the cc off my 4 spoke wheel onto the 3 spoke wheel.

Does the tan '01 tan-colored RX steering wheel match with the tan on our SC's?

good question. Ever notice Lexus doesn't even list the interior color on the window sticker? One dealer told me that the same color has a different name in different years, maybe even diff models. tan, beige, parchment, desert sand, cashmere, etc. But yeah when buying stuff from diff models for older cars it would be nice to know specifics !

Define "match"? The steering wheel and airbag arent the same color. The wheel is more tan and the airbag is more gray. But my 92 4 spoke wheel is the exact same way. So yes it does match.
