I know I am beating a dead horse here but I am going to ask......searched "taillight fitment"......returned nothing but I am sure this has been covered!

Will 1995 Sc400 taillights work on a 1992 sc400 without modifications?

you need the harness. if you put any newer taillights on the 92-94 SCs, it will have hyper blink.

i think you might also have the tail light 'is out' sign on in ur car, but that part im not sure about.

Check out that link should help you out. No you you need to mod your harness same thing with the 97 and up tailights.

Like the others said, you also need the 95-96 harnesses. The taillight out warning light on the cluster works just like it does with the 92-94 tail lights (it only goes on when a bulb is out).

To fix the hyper blink with the 95-96 taillights, you'll also need the flasher relay from the same year.

97+ tails on a 95-96 will also need the 97+ harnesses. Basically, whatever tails you decide to put on, you'll also need the corresponding harnesses.

I have almost the reverse question as the OP. I have a 95 SC and I put 92 tails on it. The blink seems normal but its triggering the taillight out lamp on the dash how do I fix this?

I have 97 tailights with harness on my 92 but I'm getting the hyper flash and rear brake out indicator on my cluster, so will I have to get a 97 relay or mod the Capacitator on the relay itself?

umm.i think both would work. im not sure about the rear brake out indicator, but the hyperblink is fixed by that capacitor.
