igniton coils
Ok so the power lag problem was the ignition coils.But you know the funny thing was, i ha to tell the mechanic about it from this forum. Im gonna change the coils, and change the plugs/wires. Hopefully will be running again.

What's wrong with the coils? Cracked? If so you don't have to buy new ones. A lot of supra guys use 1" heat shrink and epoxy on the cracks. First you epoxy then heat shrink. I did this on my car because the spark was arcing to my cylinder head due to the cracks. All I did was head shrink the coil shaft and it fixed my problem.

I just got the car back from the mechnic, took her on the highway..driving pretty good with new ignition coils, so im guessin the tranny is still good. Didnt do any kickdown off a light yet, but thats where i had the problem off no constant power till 2000 rpm. Den she wud wake up an give out top end.
