Glad to help and thanks again for the original post ! I've gotten tons of info and try to 'pay it back' when possible...
A few years agoI spent about 2 hours on a FYI post on the GS300 section when I changed out the window regulator with pics, colored arrows, etc and I know it's helped people. It's great to give back to the list!

Great post! Thanks alot- my needles and cluster are done-zo and this will definitely help me to fix the pretty annoying problem (cant see my gas)
ill probably tackle this over the weekend along with the home depot lip haha
but i also had a Quick question, as i wanna make the most out of the project
I saw in this thread that theres a way to change the color of the clusterboard:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sc-...usters-78.html
But the thread was pretty long so aside from getting them from OLT where would be a good place to get the covers? i would continue scanning the thread but im writing a paper lol

OLT is a great place to start with getting the extensive work done. Especially if you want a lifetime warranty on the work from them. Anything other than changing out bulbs to LEDS, needle upgrades, etc, I would let them do it, unless you are a electrical engineer. That I am not. I do the simple things to make it better than stock.
Your welcome on the post. Glad it has helped so many people.

I'm not sure what went wrong when I did this but after the first time I reinstalled it the fuel gauge was acting weird so I took it apart to make sure the connectors were all properly plugged in. Put it back in and the fuel gauge worked fine, however now the turn signals do not come on the cluster or on the car, and when I turn the headlights on the climate control unit turns of and when I turn the headlights off the climate control unit comes on. That should be reversed. Were those 10 screws and the blue screws supposed to be put back in the cluster in a certain order? This seems to be the only changing variable in what I am doing, is the order of the screws.

IN regards to the temp or gas gauge not working correctly, you must have those 5 screws each snug. Sometimes those screws become loose over time. When this happens, it will show the gauges to read incorrectly, not go up all the way, not go down, show full, or show empty. Make sure the screws are snug, but do not over tighten. You might have to switch the screws around if you don't have any extra lying around to put in its place. Make sure the other screws are snug as well, there is no correct order to take out or put in that I know of. Just make sure they are snug not over tighten.
In regards to the climate control problem and the hazards not working, make sure the center console hazard control is plugged in. I don't see how the climate control has anything to do with the cluster being removed, unless you have left something unplugged or have it crossed, which is highly unlikely. I would pull the climate back out and recheck all the connections and plugs are snug and plugged in. Also check to make sure the plastic below the cluster which holds the odo/time, are both plugged in on both sides.
Post up your findings, we will get it figured out. Worse case on the gas/temp gauge you have broken one of the copper coil wires on the inside.
