Once you open the inside black cover, place this piece to the side. You can see the 2 shaded display covers. One is over the time, and the other is over the mileage. Just simply pull them up and leave them off, once you put everything back together. Its that simple. You will get a green/blue look.

They are $20 with tax from any auto store, including L.L.S. (but you can't buy them without needles from LLS) Like many things from LLS, they are not sold at a cent of profit, just for convenience.

Each package of bulbs were around 3.19 each from Oreily's. They came 2 in a pack. The only problem is that they usually dont stock more than 2 packs of them. May trying to find multiple stores.

To get all 8 bulbs gets close to $20, but you run out $10 in gas getting there and back

That's why most people buy them for $20 from LLS when they send their needles in, hell they SAVE money. LOL! (I actually lose money because I have to go down a mountain -and back up- to get them, but I drive my IS300 and run the mountain so it's more for fun )

Also, I'll try to get my dad to let me buy the needles and ill do the lights myself i guess. Do you have a link to the DIY put in needles, or the simple steps for it?

Thats the same set.

The simple steps are simply follow the first couple of steps to remove the cluster from the car. Once its removed there are, I believe 7-8 screws total for just the front tinted faceplate to come off. Once this is off, you can access the needles. Just pull them from the fat part and pull straight up. They are very fragile, so take your time. You DO NOT have to pull the backside components off or anything! Just remove the front tinted glass/plastic piece... Thats it!

Yes those were the one's we had up for 5+ years @ $20 before I got tired of losing about $200 a year on GAS running to get them for people . Now we just break even @ $30, but it's better than losing. I did it for half a decade.

Needles just slide on and off. We do the calibration here.

It's not a calibration, you are just setting them on correctly. Calibration goes on over here. See bottom of this thread: http://lextech.org/forums/index.php?...3eb7&topic=6.0 Only the gas and temp are stepper style motors on silicone sensors.

FYI Amini9 The 8 bulbs for the cluster like RPM, MPM, gas, temp are #24 bulb.
The sensor light such as ect, o/d, check engine and etc are #74.

You can put #74 onto the rpm,mph and etc, but it isn't a tight fit, it kinda loose.
