I first did these on my 93 SC some years back and decided to do the same to my 97+ taillights.
This cost about $45 a side and the lights are parking lights and brakes.
what I used were trailer light conversions with 62 LEDs in each.



removed them from their housing


took the lights apart and screwed the LED boards into place


Rewired the harness so that the top is now the turn signals and the bottom 2 are parking lights and brakes.

I kinda like the parking lights on top better because it gives it more of a stealthier look. All to his own I guess. Good job man

^ I don't understand ? The Modified feature was shot June 08.
I just moved and had a garage full of future and unfinished projects. Trying to finish them all before the next feature.

i dont like where it stops and starts again.. i like the continuous flow of the light in the taillight.

hate to say it but thats my favorite part of the 97+ tails ridding behind them at night... so Sexy.

Ill agree with you there but what Idon;t like about the 97+ tails is the layout of the rest. amber turn signal on the bottom, only one section for the brakes.

hmm, interesting, looks cool/different ... just noticed you have the coveted Soarer with all of the advanced features and cool mods (exhaust tips), even the bad-*** camera-in-spoiler ::drool:: Looks great
