Hello fellow sc members. So i was cruising and some sedan pontiac grand prix with an exhaust starts messing with me..we went at it for couple of long blocks and i took him. Then his friend with a hyundai tiburon wanted to mess with me, his car sounded loud so i was on the alert. We get to a red light and then go at it, i walked him. We then stopped at a local store and i found out he had a cold air intake and exhaust. Wayyyy later in the night, about 2 or 3, i catch a 350Z on the Loop(big road here) and we go at it for about 2 miles then hit a red light, turns green and i beat him in 1st and 2nd gear, once into 3rd he started walking, and he had an exhaust. Then i went home. Would i benefit noticably from a bfi into third?, i have a sc300 5spd. 97' so yea.

you would benefit the most by not doing stupid **** like street racing retards that just got out of the latest piece of garbage entertainment some like to call the "Fast & Furious"

doing what you do gives us a bad name. if you wanna have fun find a local autocross, drift day event, SCCA lapping day, or an HPDE to mess around at. you dont have a fast car and driving a slow car in a straight like is even less fun then driving that same slow car and taking turns....or driving sideways

lol i know its dangerous, but where i live there are no drift events or race tracks, trust me if there were id be there...this city sucks though...and it was 3 in the morning, here that means empty roads for miles. no offence was taken by your alls lovely comments but just so you know fast n furious was not even on my mind during any of these races, fun was on my mind. sorry i like going fast every now and then. peace.

it doesnt matter if its an empty road. it takes one lonely car pulling out to ruin your life and possibly, but most likely probably, someone else's as well.

Depends on how big you bore out your BFI. There should be an overall difference I would think...not just shifting to 3rd...If you're staying NA then do some lighter mods like exhaust and header swaps.

Also, don't kill yourself, or anyone else.
