Definitely one-ups my 97-00 setup! I'm really glad this setup and idea turned out so perfect! Thanks for the PM Ryan, hope all is going good- how is your project I haven't heard anything lately?

Not sure if they one up the murdered 97's, The 97's are hard to beat. They are completly different from everything though. Still lots of work to do on them, they are a serious pain. I will try to start a thread this weekend.

Default ViDEO

I terribly apologize about the wait guys. Here is my Video of the "Oven Magic" tail lights! I hop you enjoy it.

P.S. apply something heavy on them like big art text books/old VCR player or something heavy when putting them back together lmao. The zip ties are just a foundation holder.

Good work on the video Tret. I would recommend adding some new glue, I know Scott is using new Nissan glue on his reverse 50/50 tails. Also which red bulbs did you end up going with for the clear section?

Also wondering if there's a way to embed this video here like the youtube vids can be? (Not that it really matters) Post up some finished close up tail pics from different angles, as well as installed pics when you can.

I did put a little extra glue around it. I learned the hard way from a failed headlight D.i.Y. and then re-assembling the tails. you need a GOOD amount of pressure to get a good seal.

As for the Bulbs I went with: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...K%3AMEWNX%3AIT

Once they arrive I'll get some pictures of Non-white brake lights ha ha.
And this comic speaks for the tails/headlights as well when you re-seal them

I just got the bulbs in. 1156 RED L.E.D.

One issue is, all my lights are getting 12v some how (always on when the car is one).
I'm going to try go go with just the two near the center and see if that fixes my issue. The outer ones have two positive and one negative wire. Any suggestions would be great as well

I'm kinda bummed that I have a crack in my right taillight and I'm not sure where I'll get another pair. I like these http://www. clearcorners .com/products/lexus/sc1/r_full1/

But that's just outrageously expensive, anybody know a cheaper alternative? I do like that LED look.

How did you clear out the color on the bottom?
