Default Does anyone have Pictures of a SC400 on G-Spider Liquid Graphite Wheels

I have been searching for the better half of 45 minutes for anyone that has tried these wheels on their SC. I am debating on whether to go with the 18 X 8.5 inch wheels on all four corners or to just go staggered 18X8 with a 45mm offset for the front and 18X8.5 with a 50 mm offset for the rear. I recently rolled the fenders all the way around on the car. The car is going to remain in the stock suspension setup. I am thinking 265, 275 or 285/35/18 tires in the rear and 245/40 or 45/18 tires in the front. Once again this is my 65 year old Dad's car. I am having this car painted 98 Toyota Supra Quicksilver and was wondering if you guys would think this LIQUID GRAPHITE COLOR will look good with my choice in paint. I think CHROME wheels might be a little too flashy especially for my Dad. I am not sure if these two different Silver paints will clash. Another rim I was contemplating was the 18X8.5 45mm 2004 Acura TL A-SPEC wheels in GUNMETAL. Once again I do not know how these two different colors will look. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

you want to run a 285 on an 8.5 inch wheel? thats way too much. its gonna look weird. right now im running a 235/40/18 on an 8.5 and its pretty square. and with those offsets its going to be pretty sunk.

Ya a 285 on a 8.5 is too wide. I'm running 255/40/18 on my 8.5's and its pretty meaty for the tire. The widest you could probably go are 265's.

I'm trying to get a set of these brand new from Sewell, pretty cheap at $950 shipped, but 27.5 lbs each seems a bit heavy... Anyone know the stock weight of the 16" SC 400 rims?

I found a set for $600 with tires, but in the end I decided to pass. I don't know what it would cost to get them refinished, they have some curb rash, and the tires had 70% or something... Every set I see they all have curb rash and in general have seen better days. I'm really looking for a perfect set. I feel like if you have curb rash...you hit curbs...which means you don't take care of your stuff lol...

I want perfect wheels, and new tires. I'm going to splurge and buy new soon, have the comfort knowing everything is new. That's my plan, make this car drive like new, so new wheels and tires are on the menu. Then upgrade to some better brakes.

Oh yea and for the record I just talked to Sewell a few minutes ago. They answered the weight question, they told me the stock 16's that came with the SC 400 are 26-29lbs so the 27.5 lb G Spiders are about the same. They also said they only come in the one color, so if someone has chromes or whatever...that's custom.

Are there any better looking 18" Lexus rims? Because these imo are the best looking 18" Lexus rims, I've looked up and down at other models and what not, and I keep coming back to these every time. Of course there are LFA knock off's that are affordable, but I don't want knock off's.
