Hi everyone I wanted to introduce my self I just got my SC and im very exited to get started on the mods I have been lurking around here for the last year or so I must say you guys and girls of course are a real inspiration you guys really put alot of effort in to ur cars and it really shows, ok so a little bit about my self I originally bought a 1993 SC400 back in Jan. of 2008 I bought a body kit and carbon fiber hood for it in June from RaceONUSA I was planing on doing alot to it but got distracted with other things so it just sat, I just bought a house on the 12 of Feb so the money i had to start the build went to that instead of the car oh well its a house no prob, so then I got a call from my buddy saying he wanted to buy the Lex so I sold it to him it was a Tues. but then at one of the local Auction's I happened to notice that a red 1992 was going to be sold on that following Mon. well i happened to get some extra cash during the week following up to the auction day and I was able to buy it, I guess you can say the stars lined up in a way but enough with that lets get down to the specs its a 1992 with 158,000 tan interior witch is not that bad i ripped the seats out and shampooed the carpet came out really good the paint is really nice but has dings and so and scrape on the bumper on the front passenger side and the back bumper is cracked on the rear passenger its ok i hope to paint it this summer.the red one is the new one I test fitted the the hood im not very happy with it its not very flush with the fenders so i might sell it and dont laugh at the liscense plates they were on there when i got it, one more thing if anybody knows whats the name of the color thanks

i have a 92 sc4 with similar paint, i am 99% sure we have the same red color.

Garnet Red.

pure hotness, get better rims tho!

really like the red color, i'd like a red SC, the CF hood looks good on it but i guess you say it's not perfect and you're unsatisfied with it, have fun with it

Thanks for all the comments and the info. I,am planing on putting different rims on it and a whole lot of other things but im on a budget for now.

yeah she was hammered I kind of lost interest as time went by, I bought it without really knowing what i was getting in to, but oh well I learned from my mistake

that a VIS hood? those things always fit so *****ty
i've got a C-Wings CF hood on my car it looks pretty flush, but i think the seibon hoods fit really good too.. VIS seems to be so popular but i've never seen anything from them fit right. nice SC's though welcome to CL

I bought the hood from Race on USA and has a Karmotion plate on it so im guessing they are the ones who made it, ill take pics up close so u can see why im not happy with it.
