SC300 shoutout in Autoweek
I was reading the February 23, 2009 issue of Autoweek today when I stumbled upon a familiar face. Sorry for the camera phone pic.
The article is pretty much talks about some of the highest mileage production cars around. The '66 Volvo on the cover has clocked over 2,676,045 miles All of the cars discussed are old classics except for a manual 1993 SC300 located in Malabar, Fla. This SC, owned by Michael Morrison, has a respectable 464,000 miles on the clock. The article states that "Shortly after he bought it, Morrison put Eibach progressive springs and a big Greddy dual exhaust on it". Gotta love that it's modded too. The funniest part is that the last item of the 'major repair list' for this SC is the blackened cluster display. Most of us know about that While most of us know about the longevity of a well kept SC, I thought I'd share proof that the automotive world recognizes it too.

I just did the math... I average around 11,000 miles per year and it would take me roughly 46 years to match up to the 621,000 on that other one. 46 YEARS! Who else loves this car?
