Default How to replace Daytime lightbulbs

I purchased some H3 light bulbs to replace my daytime bulbs but i noticed that there was like a long white threaded wire. Did i purchase the wrong model?

daytime running lights? you mean that small light next to the main headlight? its just a wedge bulb bro.... H3 is for the fogs, well at least for the 95-96 sc's

ya it's for a 95, and ya the small light beside the main one. You know what model i need for them?

that is a parking light the blub should be 194 i believe

yeah H3 is wrong, you will need a wedge bulb, most commonly numbered 194 like the post above.
or just look for wedge bulb, they are all pretty much the same. H3 is used for your fogs.

either a 194 or 168 bulb will work, they are the same size, 194's have longer life, 168's are brighter..

I just put in some white 6 LED bulbs for the parking lights.. they look great and were cheap

thanks guys, i also put some white leds in them, soo pretty =)

now time to do the fogs >.<

Mine's just went out last week, and I was trying to see how to get to the driver side one. Did you have to remove the battery to get to it? Also where did you get the led replacements? I just installed HIDs and think the white LEDs would look a lot better than the yellow bulb. Thanks!!

No I didn't have too, u just have to feel it and then twist it to the left. You can purchase the white LED on Ebay or even your local aftermarket car stores will have them.
