How about no clearance. Notice the side view of the VGA cable? Over 3/16" was shaved off it very carfully as to not get into the wires. The the CC unit was cut all the way to the PC board and the PC board edged was chamfered. Tight!

oh wow. scotturnot i really do appreciate you helping me out and finishing it up. i cant thank you enough. and uzz-tt i will definitely take great care of this. i just gotta figure out where im going to mount it. im thinking the glove box, but im not sure how it can be ventilated. more research for me! =D

This is sick, I love where you put the climate control, and as for putting it in the glove box, that also seems like a good idea. I might try this idea...
