I need some opinions on modding...
So i am not sure how familiar any of you are with my car (besides JDMmuscle) but my car is one of the cleanest stock SC's that I have ever seen. I am torn on if i should start modding it or not.
Obviously anyone on this section of the forum has appreciation for both stock and modified SC's so I wanted to see you opinions on the issue.
Do I go ahead and start the never-ending quest for sweet mods, or do I keep my car stock and sparkling
(side note: I plan to keep the car for the rest of my life as far as I am concerned, so would having a modded one or a stock one be that much cooler down the road in 20 years?)

I agree with these guys. My car is also quite clean. Im about to put new suspension on, then some rims a lil later and MAYBE exhaust. And itll most likely stay that way until the engine craps out. Then 2JZGTE
All Ive done is a few cosmetic mods: HIDs, leds in the interior, painted headlights and emblems, etc

Just give the car a refresher. That way you retain the stockness, while updating some things like suspension, rims, etc. Just picture in your mind how you would have wanted it to roll off the assembly line and aim for that.

hmm if u have the patience i would keep the car stock as long as i could and just stock up on all the parts that u really want to put in the sc and put it all at once when u make up ur mind

"Sweet mods" as you say.
lol.
Screw it. Strip it, cage it, drift it, love it.
done.
on a side note: you shouldn't be asking these questions in the first place.
Sounds like you need to find out your style and what you look to get from your SC and then go from there.
We are individuals w/ the same car.
Individual being key.
In other words, DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY!
btw, you gave me a part of my new sig!

Simple mods first to get the car in shape and get you learning. I like focusing on the handling aspect before everything else. Rims are the first step, then brakes, suspension bits, etc. Doing these two things first you give the car's handling new life and character while giving the car a new look at the same time. While you're tweaking those start thinking about power output and if you want to dish out some high hp or just keep reliable and stock. It's tough to decide, but you have PLENTY of life left in you and the car. Sit down and browse through some pictures and then look at parts and then go from there.
