middle bar removal on front bumper?

Default middle bar removal on front bumper?

i have to give Sieze all the credit for this. he ps's my stock sc300 into this and ive never seen another sc300 nicer. im wondering if anyone has removed the middle bar on the front bumper. i havent seen any with that but i will definitely be doing it.

The middle bar (and vertical ones above and below it) is prolly used for maintaining the shape of the front opening. If you cut it off, the bottom of the lip will sag over time.

Maybe just apply some black vinyl over it? or paint it all black?

Looks clean without the bar though.

yeah i know but the bar will still stick out and you will be able to see it

I like the middle bar too. It kind of hides the fmic and gives a more sleeper look.

True, IMO I personally would me more concerned with the functionality of the bar rather than ergonomics.

the the shape of the bumper is also maintained by a bunch of splash guards on the sides and front of the car. without it the bumper is super flimsy and with it the bumper is sturdy. i doubt that removing the bar will make it sag.

on the 94-96 sc you can remove the bumper grille. i have not seen one of those bumpers sag.
