So I slid into the the wall on the free way because of the the amount of snow we are having tonight. As soon as I got on the exit, the car started fishtailing all over the place and I had to counter steer all over back. Got it down to about 2-5mph I said screw it, if I don't do head first into the wall it's gonna be my passenger fender, door and quarter panel. So there the bumper took the hit, right below the passenger headlight. 2 huge scratches about 7 inches in the corner. My excuse to grab a 97+ bumper?
Go grab away. You got any pics? Sorry to hear about it, but you definitely made the right decision on which piece to take the hit. Good quick thinking.
Heh thanks. I guess it was fun for a little until I panicked and had to make the decision as the car wasn't going to stop. A couple yards down the wall there was another snow-kicked up spot and a huge black mark on the wall. Guess someone wasn't as lucky.
it all depends on what you prefer- doesnt sound like a bad hit, I agree with Classified quick thinking on where to take the hit- would have to see the damage
I'll get a pic up soon. Just checked the damage in the bright this morning, visually there are some deep scratches but upon close inspection, the corner was bulged out of shape pretty good.
What kind of components do I need to make this into a 97?
