well its been about 2 years since ive had my black 5 spd.

just to recap it looked like this when i first got it



then after 2 months of having it i got wheels, coilovers, stereo, kit, paint...



then its been sitting like that for 2 years then finally started doing more stuff to it. i changed out my exhaust to a single and added 97 tails... then for some ls brakes



well since i upgraded the stopping power i might as well make it go faster... so i got a gte motor... a 2j




then yanked the old ge motor out



since it was out i got a new water pump, t belt, new gaskets and seals. i was also worried about how the stock twins might be so i pulled them off and decided to go single at the same time.

after wiring everything up and got it fired up i drove it to a buddies shop to fab up the intercooler pipes. and now its like this

theres a few more things not pictured like a custom bezel for all my electronics, my recaros, my momo wheel... and some other things.

ill get more pics of other things later this week. it got dark so i couldnt take anymore pics

thanks to roger here in houston that did the swap. ken for doing the wiring and aldo at 1320 for the piping.

Good Job, the ride is sweet. I don't like single exhaust on a SC. But as long as you like it. What manifold did you go with, how much and from where. I will be doing a single soon on my 1J and doing some research as I type. Also...VIDEO..VIDEO..VIDEO.

Finally pictures! Looks like the swap went smoothly, sexy car. I agree the single exhaust for the sc isnt my thing, usually single exhaust look really nice on cars but for some reason on the SC it doesnt. 5zigen fireball none the less SEXY CAR!

ill try to answer the questions off the top of my head without quoting.

motor i got from jhot... good people got it for 1800 because of the microsoft live rebates.

i would love to get some 5zigen muffs. but performance wise i went with a single exit 4inch from a supra.

manifold is a xspower one. bash if you may... they actual work and hold up.
