Wheel Cap Restore
I wanted to share with you guys a small restore project for the stock rims on my 1996 SC300. I'm not much into modifying the car. I'm just trying to keep it looking good. I'll post a bunch of pic without much description but I'll be glad to answer any questions. Thanks!
These are the caps/centers before starting any work. Just 12 years old and peeling.
After removal from the car.
Wet sanded with 400 grit.
Air dried and tack cloth wiped.
Wiped with Plastic Prep to help the paint hold.
Masked off the chromed Lexus logos.
All masked and ready to paint.
