Default Let's make a list. What did you pay for your SC?

READ THIS POST FIRST

I did search (searched "pay, cheapest, cost") and didn't find anything like this.

So, it's simple, everyone add the price you payed for your car to the list I'm about to start.

Price first, then year, then if it was a 300 or a 400, then your name, so we can keep track of who payed what. Feel free to add a comment after your name, about the condition of the car, runner or not, etc.

List goes from lowest to highest. Don't number the list or else if you want to add a price in the middle of the list, you'd have to re-number everything. If you're outside the US, convert the price to USD and round to the nearest 10.

No real purpose to this, but might be sorta neat to see the range people are paying, and if you don't like this thread, don't comment, I don't care.

$610 - 92 SC400 - LEXpert - Car runs and drives, high mileage, it ain't pretty
$5370 - 92 SC400 - LEXpert - Decent mileage, 1 owner, good service history
continue this list

Should have mentioned, copy, paste, and add yourself in, order goes by cost, so add yourself in the correct spot. Remember to follow the layout, and don't forget to include your user name, so after someone else copies and pastes, your name stays with your car.

There's a small problem with this list.... you forgot to account for the fact that all these SC's weren't purchased at the same time...
Example:
97 sc bought in 2000 with 50k miles cost alot more then the same car sold in 2007... Unless you are just trying to see who paid the most and least and not necessarily who got the best deal.

I bought a brand new one for 50K back in 93, Also bought one for 500 in 2008.
I dont think it really matter what people are paying for these cars. Both cars still run and do the job.

9k 92 SC400, only 62 thousand miles, a little rough in some places but overall great. Love it to death and have been putting too much money into it. LOL

1993 SC300. Paid $5100 with 90 day warranty, 129k miles and bone stock in summer 2007. have ~$2000 in maintenance (keep it very well maintained), ~$3000 in appearance and ~$2000 in performance. I'd like to severely tilt the appearance vs. performance scale

Edit: actually i guess the tires were performance and appearance so the scale is pretty even

1996 SC300 5 speed burgundyish 115k miles on it. Front end damage. I paid 3k for it and I'm the 3rd owner and has 122k miles on it already (3 months of driving it). Engine/Transmission are running strong, came with headers, and Tien CS coil overs. Bought it Jan of 2008.
