I just put the altezza's on my 95 sc400. There wasn't a problem putting them on, but now the "burned out tail light" idiot light is on and the dash lights cycle between bright and dim. Anyone have any ideas on what to do? My guess is that the wiring plug is a little mis-wired...

I had that problem on my old 95 sc400. Lexus said that it was sometimes the result of aftermarket bulbs and that it is very sensitive to voltages etc. I dont know how much stock you can put in that, but that is going to be Lexus's official response.

The lights look terrible. To each his/her own, but they really do make the car look tacky IMHO... No getting around it, everyone Not trying to be a sour sally or anything

these altezza lights are really ugly. they call it altezza lights for a reason. it came from an altezza so it should belong on an altezza.
i cant believe u guys actually bought these. it suprizes me.

Well mine came with the car, so I dont have much of a choice for the time being. I can understand why others like it or dislike it though. It's not really necessary to talk down in a condescending way to other people's taste.

(Pic saved) I kinda like them smoked, doesn't look as loud; looks good; looks A LOT better than without the smoke/darkening. This might be the only way I'd put these tails on my car, with them smoked and black-ish. I like your white-on-black theme, including the wheels; looks slick; bigger wheels of the same kind would look even better. I'd like to see how the "version 2" or update/custom modification of these tail lights, with the two reds together, look on some SC's, if it looks about the same or not. I like how they look similar to the Supra tail lights' light pattern, giving the nod to the Beast from the East:
