Default SC300 Project Rebel

Project Rebel is Phase II of my ongoing lighting projects...

Goal #1: Passionately embrace the ridiculous.

I decided to spend the extra effort to document the steps I took and share what I learned, in hope that far greater achievements and refinements can be made by others in the future.

Enjoy.

interesting idea....seems as though it should be on the outsdide of the car, not the inside. Maybe on the Side mirrors? Looks just too blinding to be on the inside. Great write-up tho and kudos for the attempt!

Wow that is super bright! Nice work. Is it blinding upon exiting the car at night?

Wow, no one would ever believe that your kick panel lights would last longer than the car itself. Nice job

Look good A bit overbuilt though. The drain of all the extra components affect the ground point that regulates the stability of the LED, which will cause it to be more susceptible to voltage spikes.

Here's a lower power setup I did once in a GS: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=208994

And here's my high power setup in my SC which is straight LED's and resistors.

(cluster, climate and drivers entry light off)

i just scrolled through all the images and it looks like way too much work for some entry lights. i'll stick with my $5 PnP LED bought online that has lasted a number of years and looks pretty nice.

Even though you like trolling me, I'll overlook that because I am at a higher lumen His setup is a testament to ingenuity though, great work!

I agree. If I had more elctrical know-how, I would try something like this. I like it because it's unique.
