Rear Bumper Question

Rear Bumper Question
I have a 95 sc300 and I was recently rear-ended. Right now im in the middle of dealing with insurance and body shop. The only issue im having is with the rear bumper. They said that the bumper had previous repairs done to it and under tx law insurance doesnt have to pay the full amount for a new one (~$330). So they are asking me to pay 1/3 of the cost or have the old one repaired.
I noticed the 97+ rear goes for about 1/3 the cost of a 95.
My question is do i need to upgrade tail lights too for a correct fit? can anyone show me a pic of a 92-96 with just a 97 rear bumper?
cliffs: rear-ended, insurance is t3h gay, need rear bumper, how ghetto will i look with just a 97 rear bumper

i'm pretty sure you can just slap on the 97 bumper. but your exhaust might look kinda funny i'd imagine. The 97 front is the one where you need to cut some foam.

I was curious about that, ive been looking at a few pics but dont see much of a difference in 92-96 vs 97+
Looks like 97 has a "line" on the inside part of the tail lights, and the lower lip and exhaust cutouts are slightly different
is there anything else i missed?

97+ rears will bolt on directly to your 95. HOWEVER, your rear extensions WILL NOT line up to the 97+ rear, making it look funky. you will need the 97+ rear extensions as well to make it right.
