so i decided to do another retrofit, this time with my fogs. the yellow is created by yellow glass caps. The color is much more intense and brighter then depicted. I tried playing around with the camera settings but this is the best I could do. let me know what you guys think,

I did a 3000k hid kit with new lenses on my 1995 fogs....looks great from a color perspective but not really the output I was expecting in terms of light reflected from the road and distance...I think mine may need some adjustments. Also did you notice the covers that go over the bulbs? Basically black cap things (for lack of any better term). I'm wondering if removing those would improve output and what the consequences of doing so would be?

However! I have 97+ fogs/bumper/sides/etc on the way to my house...so I'll be selling the 94-95 lenses....

yeah thats the same with me, the color is there but it doesnt do much for lighting the road, I think i'd have to retrofit projectors to actually have the fogs be functional, so as of right now its just for esthetics, I did remove the bonnet on the foglight and it is noticable brighter. but i think if you take them off with HID's in I think there will be tones of glare. heres the link to what I used. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...light=foglight. In place of the bonnet I JB welded my yellow fog caps. but anyways I asked you earlier in this thread about where you got your lenses from but didnt get a response. so if you plan on selling them shoot me a PM. THANKS!

neither they are glass caps that go over the bulb. I wanted to retain the clear look for the day time.

I would go lower. The retrofit looks great. Im still trying to get the right yellowness down on the fogs. I bought a 3000k kit which was supposed to be bright yellow but it only has a hint of yellow and then its mostly white. I didnt want to tint the housing yellow so I think I might try out one of those yellow caps you used.

Guys - hi.
Yes, headlight at the Lexus SC 300/400 is very bad. Xenon lamp in the headlight does not improve the coverage of the road. Road lighting headlight at night would be good if you make a reconstruction of headlight.
I made a reconstruction of headlight on my SC 300. See my album: http://www.e1.ru/fun/photo/view_album.php?id=66026
I wrote about this in the forum: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...4&goto=newpost
So it was with Vadim
So it was with SC30096
So is a Vadim
So is a Vadim + Xenon lamp
