Now the paint on the car is perfect, but I've been told since the car is pearl white I have to paint the whole thing.Or can I get this bumpers blended
Has any one done this ?

you csn blend pesrl paint with other panels on the car. im getting some stuff done to my car and my guy will be doing exactly that. you have to find someone that know how to properly paint and blend pearl paint. otherwise you end up with tigerstriping effect.

i have seen it done and it turns out great.

I'm kind of on the edge. My gut says just paint the whole car just so you can be sure it matches but I have seem some people work wonders. The question is do you really want to chance it with such a beautiful car? As for myself im doing the same as you but I decided to paint the whole car just to be safe. I would hate to come back and see the difference. I would never forgive myself

w/ this paint code, is that mean you can go to any auto paint shop and ask for anything painted to match your car? It doesn't seem that easy to me...

with a pearl white to match you should blend the whole front end of the car(fenders, hood)not the whole car

but wouldn't that leave a chance to have the front and rear look a bit off if not done correctly? I say that cuz the front would have a real fresh look as the rear would be uummm less fresh? I guess im say this correctly

the clearcoat is whats going to make it look different, unless the color is off. because the clear is so fresh it will prob look a lot shinier. buff it out and you should be fine.

pearl paint blends are pretty tough though, seeing as how there is another coat in between the base and the clear. my auto body instructor actually told me that the paint companies recommend a full panel paint and not to blend a 3 stage paint job.

ive been painting cars for 17 years.pearls are a litlle tuffer but they are not rocket science.you would blend the color and clear the whole panel.if you had the rest of the car buffed out the rest of the car should match shine wise pretty well.
