Default Do MK3 Supra Seats fit without mods?

I tried to do a search, but wasn't successful with finding info pertaining to a Supra MK3 seat swap. Does it bolt right in without any problems? I've only found MKIV threads, but I found a nice MK3 seat from a 92 that I wouldn't mind having.

You can make brackets.

These are the ones I made for RSX seats.

Whatever happened to this thread?

I know there are tons of these threads but no one says anything if they work or not.

Im going to see if they fit today on my SC.

Just tried it and its confirmed that the seats dont fit, unless you modify them.

The brakets on the mk3 seats are way too wide.

MK3 Supra Seat Suck and they are way heavy. The worst part is that the plastic Slider gears get Brittle and Flake away giving you a nice 1/2 inch to 2 inches of shot gun like cocking action in between shifts.
Make brackets find something lite to replace them with like some racing seats. i used to have an mk3 and those were basically the first things i threw in the trash

Race seats belong in race cars. Maybe I'm too old, but I'm under no misconception that the average MK3 Supra or SC is a race car. Therefore I want seats that are comfortable during my normal driving activities. Sure, we could throw out the seats that were engineered for long distance driving and replace them with velour-wrapped aluminum sheets but why? Just for street cred? It's going to make my 3600lb car 50lbs lighter?

I've owned my share of econoboxes. I'm in no hurry to transform a Lexus into one.
