Another "thinking of selling me car" post
Hi Guys,
I own a 1993 Black SC300 with a 5spd manual in nothern california. I bought it third hand at 195,000 miles on the odo. Now at 209,000 I found out that I have a blown head gasket. $1000 later I've got a 209,000 mile car with a brand new head gasket and luckily no damage to the internals. The car has a small dent in the front drivers fender and several paint chips on the hood. The only upgrade I have is a K&N drop in filter and 18" G35 rims (tires are nearly brand new 90% tread). Given the cars stats and my region, is $6000 too much to ask?

I paid a bit over 8K for a 105K 92 5 speed, with perfect interior/engine bay and not a single dent/deep scratch on the exterior. I guess it all depends on where you are and how long the potential buyer has been searching. How does the interior/engine bay look?

Engine bay will be cleaned and detailed currently it is a bit dirty but is 99% stock. The interior is perfect for a car this aged, no cracks at all in the leather, steering wheel is a little rough (prob due to a steering wheel cover from previous owner). Normal issues are apparent such as blinking cluster (steady at medium brightness) and cracked center vent surround. Everything else is quite sound. It is obvious that this car has been garaged for most of its life, only to endure a hand full of paint chips.
