Alot of Info can be found about cars through the VIN #. I was curious if anyone knows how to de-code our Vin #'s

I remember My old '75 Trans-AM I decoded and found date/location of manuf., original color and drive train code, and production run #.

Can we do that with the SC's Vin #'s as well? Im interested in finding the production run #.

I tried to look up ways to decode, but was unsuccessful. I compared vins from the same/different years, colors, engines, etc...but could not find a pattern.

No prob, maybe something will come up. I know you can break down Hondas/Acuras as it even shows how to in the repair manuals.
