When I recently bought my car It had no keyless entry remote with it. Can I assume that it has one? IS there any way to check if it has a keyless entry system installed? How hard is it to get the remote and get it programmed? Is this a dealer only thing? Can someone tell me what needs to be done to get this working?

All SC300 and 400 models came standard with keyless entry from 92 and up.

Yup all rides, afaik, my 92 sc4 has the keyless built into the keyfob.

all SC's should have keyless entry. If any of you want to have it back, go get a blank key cut with the remote fob. They can program it for your car at the dealer

I just bought my car and got a regular key and then a key with the little button on the side to unlock/lock. It had no battery, so I bought one to replace it, but it doesn't work. Do I need to go to the dealer to have it work? Or is there a process like on most other vehicles to program it yourself?

I got two keys. A regular one and a keyless. My keyless one is broken. Can i replace it from the dealer??

will sound silly but check the switch under the steering see if its turned off, if not, check the fuses see if its out. before taking it to dealer.

do like TJohnson and first try replacing the battery, there is also a DIY someplace here on key not working.

my 92 SC 400 has the unlock / system arm, on the key itself, just a little nub button on the side, no fob.

im 99% sure my 95 sc3 diddnt come with a factory alarm. there is no switch near the gas and trunk poppers for a factory alarm.although there is a red security light near the outside temp/trip distance button.

I need to have a new key made for my SC too, but after seeing the $173 price tag from Sewell, I'm in no rush.
