I'm looking to piant the SC in the next few months, nothing crazy or expensive just that the car has a few dings and some fading. The car sleeps outside so I get all the morning mist on the car every morning. The SC is blk on Tan but I figured a lighter color would be easier to maintain. I like silver but silver won't look right with tan interior (imo). I thought and looked into an interior swap but I won't go through that again Like I did to convert the Tan interior in my GS to BLk so I figured I'm going to leave it tan. So White is my next choice for a simple color nice looking that will be easy to maintain clean with just quick detailer here and there inbetween waxes...

I have 18 inch gold wheels on the car now and will be getting 19 inch Gold wheels for her sooner or later. I'm tossed between Pearl white or a Polar white. I really want to do white on gold and I love love Cherplex's look and I think his car is pearl white correct? Did they make a Polar white or straight white for the SC that I can see pics off, (I searched but couldn't find). What do you guys think?

Any other light colors you guys think will look good on Gold wheels with tan interior.

My GS and SC were both white - so I am not a fan of white anymore. Check out the colors available on the 2000 SC - there is a brown/gold color that sounds ugly, but it looks stunning in pictures/in person.

Somone posted a really cool link that had all the different Lexus paint codes and the years they were available. I would take a look at that.

I have pearl white now but it's a slight yellow I was thinking of going pure white with a really light blue pearl but we'll see what happens.

pearl white with blue pearl? sounds like some cheap wanna-be paint job done to impress the judges at HIN. lame as *****!!!...sorry to those who like it. i saw a few colors with blue flake and it looks pretty retarded.

IMHO the white will depend on the car. i dont know if that makes sense. i love alpine white on 240s. it looks amazing...while pearl white looks too much. on the SC the pearl white would look amazing when sprayed right and maintained. alpine white looks too plain. believe me when you get DPW detailed and washed and see in the sun you wouldnt want anything else...ever....maybe black

My car is currently Diamond white pearl and I was learning towards another color but my license plate wont let me



I will be re painting it this spring but I think I'm going to add more blue pearl into the formula to make it stand out more. I really like the is350 blue pearl white paint, it looks very good, I think its called glacier frost.

i love the is350 color, but i was referring to a more distinct blue flake. i would do is350 white with blue flake all day amazing color. what kind of wheels are those on that last ISx50 pic? they look amazing. i need some in 18x9 and 18x10 at least and lowest offset they make
